Gratitude

My Why

In February 2020, I was part of a group of community leaders that eventually formed a new non-profit West LA Homeless. (www.wlah.org) We formed a board, filed for non-profit status and over the following 18 months raised funds to fulfill the WLAH mission.

Thanks to the generosity and support of the community, we reached our fundraising goal, and our outreach team hit the streets in August, 2021. WLAH contracted with The People Concern (www.thepeopleconcern.org) to hire and manage an outreach team. The WLAH outreach team are the “boots on the ground” addressing the issues of homelessness, one case, one day at a time.

My participation on the Board of WLAH is “My Why”.
